[Product Review]: Rollover Reaction Lip and Cheek Cream

Friday, September 30, 2016

So a few months back, for those of you who have been following my Instagram account you may haven known that I've received a package from Rollover Reaction for winning their Giveaways. However prior to that I have already purchased one for myself after encountering the products at Zalora Event.

This is a little late post since I've just started my personal blog, so I thought why not share my thoughts about these products here and do a proper product review.

Just a brief introduction on how I encounter this brand, so I was invited to #zaloradesignerproject VIP opening night and while I stroll through all the designers display, I saw a corner filled with cute pastel display of Rollover Reaction's products. At first I thought it was only a lip product but then they told me that it's a 2 in 1 lip and cheek product (the first thing that pops into my head is "Wow, I'll no longer need to worry about what to apply on my cheeks and Lip" because sometimes deciding on which colour to apply can be bothersome especially when you're in a hurry.) I've heard them saying that it can be used as an eye shadow too (another plus point). So I decided to get one for myself, I chose Saddie shade because the colour is just too beautiful, I can't resist!

You can check on my post for WhatWeLike.Co about them here
Let's begin unboxing and see what's inside this beautifully wrapped pastel pink box!

The Box Contains a love letter, a set of Ben Scrub Frank Body's Lip scrub and lip balm, Srou Studio makeup pouch and of course the Rollover Reaction lip and cheek cream in nude shades ( Lizzy, Saddie and Sally).

Here are the swatches of the Rollover Reaction Lip & Cheek Cream, ( Top: Lizzy, Middle: Sally, Bottom: Saddie)

Ben Scrub Frank Body's Lip scrub and lip balm

This duo has a very nice texture and feel to on the lips, the lip scrub is a sugar- coffee base that's why it has a strong coffee smell and is very gentle for exfoliating the dead skin on the lips. After exfoliating use the lip balm to moisturize. I can't hardly smell any scent on the lip balm.I would rate this duo 4.5/5

Final Thoughts about Rollover Reaction Lip and Cheek Cream

I think after trying out all the three shades I still love the Saddie one the most! Saddie is a beautiful soft nude mauve colour, totally fell in love with the colour. I love to use it both as blush and lipstick. Saddie is my everyday go-to lip colour I wear daily, cause the colour brightens up my complexion instantly. Lizzy is kind of a nude brown colour which makes it perfect as a subtle contouring make up however on the lips it kind of make my face look too pale but I think it will look good with a strong and bold eye makeup. As for a Sally is a beautiful dusty pin, I personally love to use it as a blush compare to lip colour.

After trying the product I feel that it's a very good product with nice texture and formula, since most lipsticks tend to dry my lips I've been very careful on choosing lip products. However this one, even though it dries off matte / suede but it totally didn't make my lips feel dry and doesn't emphasize on cracks. Totally love the staying power of the product as well, by the end of the day even without touching up there will still be a hint of the colour left on your lips fading in beautifully and naturally.

P.S. For the next few months you may still be seeing more late post of past events or product reviews, so please bear with me and hope you enjoy! Of course, I'll also updates on my recent activities too, but on the side I'll do late post to catch up with all the past events that are just too wasted, if not shared.

Love, Stevie
