[Event+Review]: Lip on Lip - Watercolor Hydrating Lipstick

Beauty Monday, December 30, 2019

Yesterday, I attended the launching of Lip on Lip new lipstick range after their launch of their matte lipstick last year. If you've missed out my post on that one kindly check it out here. I'm so excited to share about this new launch with you guys because I'm so happy to be part of their launching event Yesterday and be among the very first few to try out Lip on Lip Watercolor Hydrating Lipsticks. During the event we also got to try and experiment with the new lipstick and use it to create Lip Art Swatch inspired by LippieLust. It was fun but please don't laugh at my creation... Not so bad after all right?

This is the sample of Lip art by Lippielust

Before the lip art session, we had a little chit chat with both the representative of Lip on Lip and Lippielust .

Finally the first revealing if this new lipstick products at the event, they haven't even officially available in the market. First of all thank you Lip on Lip and Female Daily for having me at the launching event so I could get the privilege to try out this new lipsticks from Lip on Lip. This new Watercolor Hydrating Lipstick range is available in 5 beautiful shades: Nude Brown, Pink Peach, Red Velvet, Pink Blossom & Red Plum, that are all very wearable for daily use. All the colors are also so versatile that you can simply use it as a full lips or ombre lips.
Now let's move on to my full review on this new lipsticks shall we?

REVIEW

TEXTURE & FORMULA

This new Watercolor Hydrating Lipstick from Lip on Lip has a creamy buttery texture that glides in smoothly on our lips leaving a glossy and satin finish. They contain ingredients that's hydrating for the lips like Nano HA & AcHA, Vitamin E & Avocado oil. Giving off a plump effect and fuller lips look with a semi matte finish that is long lasting and vivid. However they do still transfer especially if you drink or eat but don't worry even if it fades, you'll still have a beautiful stain left on your lips.

They are also Halal certified.

PACKAGING

Their packaging is definitely something I need to highlight, since their concept is Watercolor Hydrating lipstick that's why they have blue dominating packaging but the fun part about their packaging is they have 3D emboss like water sprinkles on the packaging. So adorably cute! As for the size Lip on Lip lipsticks always come in the same shape and size that is pretty small and handy to carry around everyday even in small bags. You can simply pop this lipstick into your bags.

VERDICT

After trying out their new Watercolor Hydrating lipsticks, I would say I fell for it instantly. Since it comes with better formulation and its semi matte, satin finish is so much more comfortable to wear compared to their matte one especially for daily. Especially for those who are lazy to touch up or retouch their lipstick (just like myself) the new formulation of the Watercolor Hydrating lipstick stains off beautifully even after it fades away throughout the day if you've eaten or drank. My personal favorite shades would go to Nude Brown and Red Plum. They are so beautiful to be worn on its own and even better ombre together too! Giving off MLBB (my lips but better) kind of lips. Which of the five is your favorite?

Overall I rate this new Lip on Lip Watercolor Hydrating Lipstick
4.5/5

They will soon be available in the market at your nearest drugstores and supermarket by January 2020. So make sure to mark your calendar and don't forget to get yours once its launched cause its definitely worth buying. Although they may have a very pocket friendly price tag of about Rp.40 000 but their quality is so good, don't trust me? go check it out yourself when they're available in the market. I bet its gonna make a great hit !

[Review]: Philocaly Skin - Peel Off Mask

Beauty Thursday, December 05, 2019

Hello loves, here’s a little long overdue article I promised to write and share to you. Wished could have updated you guys about this sooner but long story short here it is today. Can’t believe it’s already December and soon we’ll be celebrating holiday seasons which is the best time of the year to spend with our loved ones. Whether you’re planning for a holiday or simply chill with your dearest ones it’s always a great time to look and feel good about yourself right? Holiday season is also a great time to relax and unwind, what’s your favorite me time? Mine would definitely be masking. However simple sheet masking might not give you the same experience as those peel off you experience at the saloon spa.

However today I’d like to share about my experience with this very unique peel off masks which you usually get during your treatment at a spa. A very simple ritual you can do at home to get a spa treatment at the warmth of your home. Simply mix your Philocaly Skin mask with your favourite rose water or water then you can enjoy a relaxing session at home. I would recommend using cool water to get a cooling effect. So happy to introduce this peel off mask from Philocaly because its another local product worth the hype!

They come in different varieties to cater to different skin conditions, at the moment they have four different variants: Lavender, Blueberry, Tea tree oil & Peach .

Variant Types

Blueberry – for normal to oily skin

Tea tree oil – for acne prone skin

Peach – for normal to dry skin

Lavender – for sensitive skin

Direction of Use:

-Pour in 30 ml of water or rose water to the mixture of the peel off mask
-gently apply the mixture of the peel off mask on your skin
-Even it out on all your skin, including your eyes and lip to get an even out skin tone that looks bright and radiant.
- Use it for 15- 20 min, for optimal result use it 2-3 times in a week.
- Remove or wash off the excess residue of the peel off mask on your skin is its not clean

Review

I tried lots of mask and I personally feel that this mask makes my skin feel supple, soft, and instantly glowing.Their masks are also said to be Halal and BPOM certified, its also safe for both pregnant and breastfeeding mom. Although for this try my mixture is a bit too watery since I put in too much water to the mixture but after a while it finally dries off and ready to peel off. The sensation of peeling off the mask is so satisfying as it clarify our skin leaving it glowing and supple. Another thing I like about this product is you can simply choose accordingly to your skin condition, They also come in two different sizes the big size and single use one like the one above.Especially for my sensitive skin I decided to try out the lavender series for sensitive skin to reduce reduce on the blemishes on my skin. After using it and rinsing off I feel this peel off face mask helps to get rid of the redness and inflammation. Leaving it looking soft, supple and glowing, even before applying any skincare.

As someone with super duper sensitive skin, I am so grateful that my skin loves this product. Even though the redness and inflammation is still visible but after the peel off mask my skin becomes calmer and radiant looking. It doesn't cause any further inflammation or acne on my skin. The most satisfying feeling is when your mask is dry and you can remove it. The removing process is also easy and completely painless. Relaxing "me time" is a must to pamper our skin and self after working for 24/7, will definitely do this routine daily to look more glowing this holiday season.

[Review]: Ariul 7 Days Masks

Ariul Tuesday, October 29, 2019

Hello loves, It's almost the end of October are you ready for the last two months in 2019. I'm actually pretty thrilled for what's next :) In this post I'll be sharing a bit on this Ariul 7 Days Masks and my experience with the mask. If you're following up with the K beauty trend you must be aware that in Korea they have this beauty routine of using one sheet mask everyday. This is the theme that Ariul want to highlight by bringing in 7 varieties of sheet masks that cater to different skin needs and condition. Ariul 7 days mask uses tencel which is 100% natural from eucalyptus wood which has better essence absorption and feels soft when used too.

The 7 varieties of Ariul 7 Days Masks

1. Bamboo Water ( hydrating & moisturizing)

2. Aloe (calming soothing)

3. Tea Tree (clearing purifying)

4. Avocado (nutrient protection)

5. Lemon (brightening smoothing)

6. Green Tea (sebum control, peeling)

7. Pomegranate (firming radiating)

I personally feel the mask size is a bit too big for my face but overall it covers up my whole face, I would recommend you to cut them into two parts to ease the application process or you can simply trim it according to your face. Ariul 7 Days Masks are filled with lots of essence which I usually like to pad on my skin and even on my neck and hands too after the masking session.

the sheet mask is made from tencel by eucalyptus wood

Since the masks are made from natural ingredients with extract from their main ingredient it doesn't really have a strong overwhelming scent which is something I like. The scent is soothing and calming perfect for the short me time session during every mask time. Do you consider sheet masking "me time"? Cause its one of my favorite me time which is quick and effective especially when days get a bit too hectic a short 20 mins just relaxing while masking is a definite pleasure. I love to use this usually in the evening after showering and I always realize the next day when I wake up my skin would look radiant, supple and glowing. Since these days felt a bit more oily than usual I tried their green tea and it really made my skin feel refreshed and glowing right after the application. It can also help to control sebum and the peeling effect can also help to calm down my irritated inflamed acne which evening out my discoloration. My personal favorite are bamboo water, pomegranate and green tea.

Packaging

The design of each packaging shows the main ingredient in their mask. As per the name 7 days mask they are recommended to be used continuously for 7 days to see significant improvement on one's skin condition.

You can find the ingredients and direction of use at the back of each packaging

HOW TO USE

-Clean your face and apply toner if you're intending to apply skincare to prep your skin for the essence on the mask.

-Apply the Ariul 7 Days Mask and slowly even out the mask according to your face contour.

-Let it be for about 15-20 minutes. (Never leave it more than recommended, cause it might result in adverse effect on your skin if you apply sheet mask for too long.)

-After using it pad the access essence on your face for maximal results.
